Ninox Gmail Sync Privacy Policy

Ninox Gmail Sync is a private productivity integration operated by Eric Smies. It transfers selected Gmail correspondence into the operator’s private Ninox database for business organization and recordkeeping.
Google user data accessed
The application may access Gmail messages that the user has intentionally identified for synchronization, including:
Sender and recipient information
Email subject
Message date and time
Message identifiers and conversation identifiers
Email body content and message preview
Gmail labels associated with the selected messages
How the data is used
The information is used only to import, organize, display, and update professional correspondence in the operator’s private Ninox database. It may be associated with contacts, companies, projects, or other related business records.
Data sharing
Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated third parties. Data is processed only through services necessary to operate the integration, including Google Gmail and Ninox.
Data storage and protection
Imported information is stored in the operator’s access-controlled Ninox account. Reasonable security measures are used to protect the confidentiality of the information, including account authentication and restricted access.
OAuth credentials and tokens are used only to authorize the integration’s access to the connected Google account and are not intentionally disclosed publicly.
Data retention and deletion
Imported correspondence is retained in the Ninox database until it is deleted by the operator. The operator may delete imported records directly from Ninox.
Access to Gmail can be revoked at any time through the connected Google account’s security and third-party access settings. OAuth credentials stored in Ninox can also be removed to stop future synchronization.
Limited Use disclosure
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
